Customer Service Coordinator (Readymix) FTC

Birtley | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We're looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our ReadyMix team in Birtley. You'll play a key role in processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries and ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-focused transport operation.

Whatyou'llbe doing

• Receiving and processing ReadyMix concrete orders
• Scheduling deliveries to meet customer requirements
• Providing customers with updates and outstanding service
• Working closely with transport, logistics and production teams
• Coordinating third-party haulage and ensuring compliance standards are met
• Building strong relationships with haulage suppliers and stakeholders
• Supporting medium and long-term planning to meet customer demand

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 7am–5pm.Rotational Shift Pattern (7-4pm & 8-5pm)Saturday Mornings Rotational ifrequired

Whatwe'relooking for

• Experience in customer service, transport,logistics, distribution or route planning
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent or ganisational and problem-solving abilities
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
• Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP and CRM experience desirable)
• A proactive approach with a desire to learn and improve
